We had so much fun this morning! Our entire staff participated in supporting a good cause and sold newspapers to raise money for “the kids” of Rady Children’s Hospital.

Today is Kids’ NewsDay. More than 1600 volunteers are hitting the streets to raise money for children in need by donning yellow aprons and selling special edition newspapers featuring the life changing stories that take place at Rady Children's Hospital. The nonprofit hospital is recognized as one of the nation's top ten full-service pediatric health facilities, and all proceeds from today will go towards the patients and their families. The newspapers are only $1 and include a coupon for a $1 off any Starbucks drink.

We are so supportive of Rady’s good work that we closed our office for an hour this morning to join the fundraising efforts! Dr. Yoo sold newspapers at Starbucks; I was on College Avenue across from San Diego State University. We had 100 newspapers to sell and just an hour to do it in …

And we met our goal! In just an hour we raised more than $100 in donations for kids in need!

THANK YOU to those who donated this morning. We are happy to be part of such a great event and appreciate those who chose to make a difference in the life of a child.

Want to help? Donate online or just text RADY to 90999 to donate $5 to Rady Children’s Hospital.
