Scripps Memorial Hospital Physicians Appreciation Night

Last night Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla honored its physicians at a special event held at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. I have privileges at most of the major hospitals in San Diego, which means that I have been invited to be a part of each hospital's medical staff based on my experience and training. This allows me to operate and treat patients at these hospitals.

The event was held at the Birch Aquarium after hours, so the entire facility was opened for our (very large) group. The crowd was filled with flower-print shirts and blue and white stripes in accordance with the "Hawaiian and nautical" theme. I enjoyed walking through the exhibits. My favorite was the floor-to-ceiling kelp forest exhibit with several eels, Garibaldi, and a Giant Sea Bass.

On the outdoor terrace, nature continued to steal the show with a spectacular sunset.
