In the past year, Amber graduated with honors from University of Florida's doctorate program, had her research published in Business Horizons, presented at the Academy of Management national conference and is teaching at two colleges. This is all in addition to running the business here at SKY!

These achievements come as no surprise to those familiar with Dr. Yoo's impressive track record. As co-founder of SKY Facial Plastic Surgery, she has been instrumental in the practice's success for over a decade. Under her leadership, SKY has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies led by a University of Florida alumnus. Furthermore, the exceptional patient experience she designed, together with her husband’s impressive and skilled surgical results, have established SKY as a leader in facial plastic surgery, drawing patients from around the world.

Dr. Yoo's impact extends far beyond the walls of SKY Facial Plastic Surgery. She has been a finalist for San Diego Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business and San Diego Magazine's Woman of the Year awards multiple times. Her philanthropic efforts are equally noteworthy, having chaired The Country Friends' Art of Fashion event, which raised over $110,000 for local human-care agencies. As a community leader, Amber has served on the boards of local nonprofits, including the FACE Foundation and Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary, participated in the steering committee for United Way's Women United, and co-founded an animal welfare nonprofit that spearheaded the "adopt, don't shop" movement in Los Angeles.
